Story
This October, I will be walking 100 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now! 🚶
That’s just over 3 miles a day… so what’s the challenge? I’m glad you asked! A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 10 minutes in the UK and a few weeks ago, I found myself to be one of those women. No 32-year-old expects to hear “I’m really sorry but you have cancer”, but here we are. So instead of feeling sorry for myself, I want to use this as an opportunity to do something different. So, while I’m starting 6 months of aggressive chemo and kicking cancer’s ass, I do not want your pity or ‘positive vibes’. Instead, can I ask you to help me on my quest to raise as much money for this wonderful charity as possible. If you can donate, the smallest amount would mean a lot to me and will make a big impact. And if money is tight right now, don’t worry, we have all been there. You can still help, it’s not all about the money! I will be sharing info throughout October to raise awareness – you can help by sharing, to reach as many people as possible.
Any little donation or a share helps, thank you for your support 💗
Breast Cancer Now are here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £50.
