Story
On 12th September 2025, our Managing Directors, Jack and John, will attempt the 24-hour UK 3 peaks challenge in aid of Playskill, a charity supporting children with physical delays and disabilities, and their families, in Hertfordshire.
Playskill supports pre-school children with physical disabilities and delays to develop their communication, movement and key life skills. All their services are free to families despite receiving no Government funding, relying wholly on donations to provide its vital service.
The only charity of its kind in Hertfordshire, and one of only a few in the country, Playskill steps in during the crucial early intervention window (up to age five) when the brain is developing faster than at any other time.
Their incredible work includes;
- Providing therapeutic play sessions, alongside training, advice and support for families
- Holding weekly specialist playgroups, providing tailored physiotherapy, occupational and speech & language therapy.
- Specialist training and one to one advice to support parents as they navigate health, education & financial services.
- Providing an all-important network of parents and carers, including social events.

Where does the money go?
£5,000 could fund the respite and social event programme for the year, allowing families the opportunity to meet others, form peer support networks and friendships and receive some much-needed respite.
£3,500 could provide specialist equipment such as standing frames, specialist seating systems, as well as a toy library which allows families to borrow toys to continue play therapy at home.
£2,000 could sponsor a family to attend Playskill for one term, including attending our specialist playgroups, attending our respite and social events, and accessing our tailored family training programme and support.
