Albie’s fundraiser in aid of the National Autistic Society

Corrie Lavallee is raising money for National Autistic Society

Indoor climbing · 4 April 2026

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

This April, our incredible 5-year-old son Albie is taking on a BIG challenge for Autism Awareness Month 💙

Albie is autistic and every day he shows us just how determined, brave, and unique he is. This month, he’ll be taking on something truly inspiring, climbing the equivalent height of the UK’s tallest building, The Shard.

At 1,016 feet, that’s pretty tall for a little guy! To reach his goal, Albie will be climbing the indoor auto belays (30ft each) at his local climbing centre a total of 34 times throughout April.

Throughout the challenge itself, we’ll be helping Albie learn, in his own way, about the importance of raising money for charity and spreading awareness, understanding, and acceptance for people with autism.

We’re so proud of him, every climb represents not just physical strength, but courage, perseverance, and the incredible way he experiences the world.

If you can, please support Albie on his journey, every donation and share means the world to us
