Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. Some people live with the condition for many years but it causes weakness that gets worse over time. There's currently no cure for MND but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on a person's daily life.
This disease afflicts sooo many people in the world today and is becoming more and more prominent in the media due to it's ravaging effects with no known cure. To that end I am again taking part in this year’s Glasgow Kiltwalk (Big Stroll) from between Clydebank and Balloch on Sunday 28th April 2024. Myself and several friends are undertaking this walk of around 14.5 miles in order to help raise funds to help support the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
The Foundation is committed to helping improve the lives of those affected by MND by helping to fund grants, giving considerable sums to their friends at MND Association and MND Scotland to administer to individuals and families currently living with MND.
Hopefully you can help raise as much as possible with any kind donation (no matter how small) as it would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you.
