I am taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds for the amazing Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF); a small contribution towards their life-saving work across the world, and especially in the Middle East where there is still such desperate need.

I've found a lot of joy from running more with the family I'm living with in Hackney, and since I'm based here while doing my master's, I couldn't not sign up...

Any generous donations will go towards helping MSF to respond during an emergency, treating those most in need as quickly as possible. It also means they can continue to respond to epidemics, conflicts, and disasters at a moment’s notice. I'm so grateful for their work. Thank you!

- £21 can help pay for masks to resuscitate three newborn babies.

- £43 could pay for a blood pressure monitor to help detect underlying health issues

- £95 could provide antiretroviral drugs for a year for one person living with HIV/AIDS.

- £153 could buy a basic surgical kit, enabling an MSF surgeon to carry out surgery.
