We provide breaks for children with cancer to give a break from the every day routine

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. On the 20th of April, 2025, a dedicated team will embark on a journey, walking from Derby County's Pride Park Stadium to West Bromwich Albion's The Hawthorns. The Hawthorns is the highest ground in England at 552ft above sea level.

This personal walk, covering at least 42 miles and expected to take approximately 16 hours, is not just a test of endurance but a heartfelt mission to support families in need.

We are raising funds for the Ben Parker Trust Fund, established in memory of a brave, local lad who lost his life to Leukaemia. 'Ben's Den' provides free holidays in purpose-adapted caravans for families with children diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia. These moments of respite are invaluable for families facing unimaginable challenges.

We invite you to join us in making a difference. Our target is to raise £1,000 to help sustain this vital service. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure; your details are safe with them as they never sell or share your information. Once you donate, your contribution goes directly to the charity, ensuring that every penny counts towards creating joyful experiences for those who need it most. Together, we can bring hope and happiness into the lives of these families.
