Whilst travelling through New Zealand with my family, we received some devastating news. Nicola’s (known to some of you as Nicky Payne) oldest friend Sarah Gwilliam has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

I’m undertaking the biggest challenge of my life - 3000km across New Zealand in often remote and unforgiving territory. I don’t know if I will make it but knowing this will raise money for such a worthy cause will make me dig in deeper.
