Imagine not having the energy to clean your teeth and to live with constant pain, that’s the reality most days for someone with severe ME.

Imagine suffering with ME in Ukraine and not having the energy to seek shelter when the bombs fall.

ME is a devastating illness and affects thousands of people in every country yet has no cure. Only biomedical research can find the causes of ME, identify treatment and, ultimately, arrive at a cure. That’s why research is our focus.

Whilst continuing to provide aid for Ukraine, the volunteers at Surrey Stands with Ukraine are also raising money that will go directly to ME Research UK.

This will give hope of a cure to the daughter of one of our volunteers and countless others here in the UK, in Ukraine and around the world.

ME Research UK have awarded 64 full grants and 5 PhD-level awards since 2000 and invested over £3.5million. But research is expensive and becoming more so every day. That’s the challenge we face, and that’s why we need your help.
