Since my brother Mike died from MND in 2012, I've been trying to do my bit to help fund research to find a cure. Every year in the UK some 2000 families receive the devastating news that a loved one has been diagnosed with MND. Tragically, there is still no cure, no effective treatment and average life expectancy from diagnosis is only 14 months.

It was Mike's wish that all money raised would fund research to take us a step closer to a cure. With your help, my son Jake and I aim to raise as much as possible for this fantastic charity.

And you never know, if things go according to plan, I might FINALLY break the elusive 3hrs 30mins!
