Nakoa, beautiful baby boy of Akhil & Jayna was born sleeping on 24th January 2024. Nakoa was an angel before he reached this world, born 12 days past his due date and we are fundraising in his loving memory for Abi Cool Cots. The cool cot allowed us to spend precious time together as a family with our much loved son, Nakoa. It gave us the opportunity to hold him close, but also put him down in the cool that his body needed where we could continue to watch over him in awe. The cool cot meant we were all able to stay in the room together for as long as wanted. Your donations will go toward making a cool cot in Nakoa’s name. The more donations we raise means more cots can be available for families to use, should they sadly need to.

The Abi Cooling Cot is a refrigerated unit that allows families to spend more time with their angel baby than would otherwise be possible. The cooling cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process. The cooling cot is supplied by Abigail's Footsteps in partnership with The Bond Group . We have delivered cots to over 100 hospitals and hospices in the UK and Ireland so far. It is our mission to encourage all bereavement suites in hospitals to have at least two cooling cots.
