Story

I am Mihika and I am 10 years old. I am honoured to be fundraising for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

From my very first breath, life was intertwined with the dedicated care provided by the Birmingham Children's Hospital.

I was born with a rare disease with unpredictable course- Congenital Hyperinsulinemia. I am one of the lucky few where this condition has fully resolved.

My heart overflowing with gratitude, I embark on a journey—a three-day cycle ride, each day spanning 40 miles in France. I ride 3rd May to 5th May 2024. With each turn of the pedal, I will carry with me the spirit and commitment of those who stood by my side, the faces of the heroes who shaped my journey.

With every mile conquered, we will raise funds to support the hospital that provided unwavering care and hope when we needed it most ,so that they can continue to support and care for the sick children and their families .

Together, let us ride in Gratitude

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
