🚶🏻‍♀️ On Friday 12th July, a team from Aimia Foods will be walking 22km (from our door to theirs) to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. 🚶🏻‍♀️

We are raising money to help create a calming and peaceful environment for the young children of Alder Hey by funding the purchase of a Sensory Voyager – a specialist machine designed to help alleviate stress and anxiety for patients.

We are asking our partners to help us support the children of Alder Hey and the Aimia team taking part in the event by donating to this wonderful cause.

Our Charity Partnership

In 2023 Aimia Foods entered a partnership with Alder Hey children’s charity with the aim to raise money to help children, their families, and the wonderful staff at the hospital.

Based in Liverpool, Alder Hey is one of Europe’s busiest and biggest children's hospital, helping families not just locally, but across the UK. They are a pioneer for developments in children’s medicine and some of the charity funded projects have benefited not just Alder Hey patients, but children across the world.

As well as funding innovation and research, the charity is devoted to going above and beyond to make hospital life brighter for its children, supporting their families, and its dedicated employees.

The money raised so far by Aimia Foods has been used to refurbish family rooms in critical care so that parents and families can take a much-needed break, even if just for a moment, in a cosy and comforting environment.

Our next target is to raise money to create a calming and peaceful environment for the young children of Alder Hey by funding the purchase of a Sensory Voyager – a specialist machine designed to help alleviate stress and anxiety for all our patients.
