Story

Please sponsor us, we are fasting as a family!

Working for The Uniform Project, (which is based within Himmah Food Bank,) has given me the privilege of working alongside this fantastic organisation. My children & their close friends have also had the opportunity to visit, make food parcels, & gain an understanding about the hardships & hunger that are facing multiple children, young people & families surrounding them everyday.

My family (husband, children & a close friend) love football, so they are excited & proud to be participating with me in the Solidarity Fast 2024 with Nottingham Forest Football Club, on March the 19th. We will all spend the day at work & at school fasting, & explaining to people why we are abstaining from food, in order to raise funds for those who face hunger on a daily basis. We will be breaking the fast at 18:20 with the First Team from NFFC.

Your support through donations will directly contribute to Himmah’s hunger relief efforts, which will make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Every bit of support counts, so please share this cause, donate what you can, and send us a few words of encouragement. Thank you all so much.

United, we CAN bring about change!
