Story

In July 2024 we lost our colleague and friend Jackie to cancer. 4 of the outreach team (current and old) decided we wanted to try and raise money for St Luke’s Hospice. Jaz, Aimee (and hopefully Connor 🤞🏻) are taking on the Sheffield half marathon on Sunday March 23rd.

The hospice supported Jackie in his final months and treated him with the best care we could have asked for and also treated his friend and family with love, kindness, compassion and offered support.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Jackie, know what a character he was and how much he is missed by everyone.

In true Jackie fashion, he spent his whole time at the hospice making the nurses belly laugh at his ridiculous stories and jokes.

We hope that we can raise funds for St Luke’s so they can continue to do the amazing work that they do for those who find themselves having to navigate a diagnosis of cancer.
