Here I am again, walking the Parallel Windsor 1K course for charity. You may remember that I raised over £1,000 for the Ukrainian people last year. This time, I am doing the same for a charity close to my heart. KIDS help disabled children and their families by providing respite care and playschemes for disabled children and their siblings to give families a break.

When my younger brother and I were younger, KIDS, in Fareham, provided my parents respite to enable them to go out on their own without the worry of how my brother and I would be cared for.

As well as respite care at home, each summer, during the school holiday, my brother and I went to a Summer Playscheme and I loved going there. I could do anything from playing with sand to water play, and even relaxing in the sensory room or playing in the ball pits and soft play.
