Story

Our Warrior Lou has been through so much in the last 2 years. She has fought every single day for her husband two kids family and friends to still be with us today. No matter how tough her journey has been she is a true inspiration to us all. This girl is Strong Resilient Fierce no matter what has been thrown at our Lou she has tackled it head on like a champ 🖤💪

In July 2022 Lou found out she had neuro endocrine of the cervix. Lou went through surgery and 4 cycles of chemo that ended in December 2022 she got the all clear in January 2023 🖤

Unfortunately Lou Cancer returned in July 2023 in the same place but had infiltrated into the muscle in her pelvis she started radiation, chemo and brachytherapy this treatment ended in Nov 2023 Lou got the all clear again in January 2024 🖤

Unfortunately a routine scan in March 2024 revealed it had metastasised to both her lungs. Lou had 4 cycles of chemo and immunotherapy completed July 2024 her recent scan has confirmed the treatment hasn’t worked her tumours have doubled in volume and size and has reoccurred in her pelvis again 🖤 Lou is about to start another round of chemo to hopefully help with the growth and spread of this very rare form of cancer 🖤

Thank you so much for taking time to read our girls story 🖤
