Story
In memory of our mum, Lesley Bartlett, who bravely fought cancer but sadly passed away in 2018, my brother Gregg and I are planning a 100+ mile walk in her honour.
Starting from Mum's birthplace in Worthing, we'll walk to her resting place in Chippenham, Wiltshire, over four days, covering about 25 miles each day. We hope to finish the walk on her birthday (13th May), and hopefully, with friends and family joining us for the last mile.
This isn't just about remembering our mum; she was a mum to four boys, a grandma to seven, and a friend to many. We're doing this for them and for everyone who has faced cancer. It's a challenging journey, and if we can make a difference by supporting Macmillan (who were amazing for our mum), it'll be worth it.
Any support is appreciated, whether it's a donation or just spreading the word. If you want to join us for a mile or more, that would be fantastic, too. We'll keep you posted on our training and share our progress along the way.
Our memories of Mum are precious, and by supporting Macmillan, we hope to help them continue making a difference in the lives of cancer sufferers across the UK.
Thank you
Aidan & Gregg
