Story

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to Cambodia. Often called the 'Kingdom of Wonder,' it’s a beautiful country that’s safe for women traveling alone. My friend calls it her happy place.

Siem Reap is in the heart of Cambodia. It's where Angkor Wat, the largest religious structure on Earth, is located as well as Feeding Dreams Cambodia, the community school where I volunteer. This year, I’m participating in the Angkor Wat half marathon which takes place every year and attracts runners from around the world. I’m doing the Charity run, a shorter option of the marathon, with three staff members from Feeding Dreams. Fingers crossed, we’ll all make it over the finishing line. If you’d like to give a donation, please click on the gofundme site. All money raised goes directly to the school and any amount, however small, will be greatly appreciated.
