Why are we supporting Shelter?

Shelter is at the forefront of the housing emergency, providing crucial support, legal advice, and advocacy to those affected by homelessness. The statistics are staggering— in February 2024, there were 142,490 children who are homeless – a jump of 16,960 (14%) in a year. Right now, there are 279,400 people, many of them families, are living in temporary accommodation across the UK. These are not just numbers; they represent families facing daily struggles for stability and survival. We’re fundraising to support Shelter’s work to solve this crisis.
