I’m going to walk part of the Camino de Santiago from Ferrol to Santiago with 3 ex rugby players(Mike Whitson, Nigel Meek, Bill Jackson). We will walk around 115km within 7 days. I’ve been incredibly inspired by Billy Twelvetrees and his cycling team’s fundraising efforts as well as Ed and his family’s courage. I feel that I can’t do this walk without raising money for this great cause.

In July 2022 Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater announced his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and thus the 4Ed campaign was created to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family’s battle with the disease. What followed was an outpouring of support, generosity, and kindness from the rugby family across the globe.

By supporting this fundraiser you will be directly helping hundreds of families living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Gloucestershire to access urgent financial and psychological support from the Gloucester Rugby Foundation, allowing them to concentrate on the important things without the new pressures in front of them.
