The fantastic people at Searle House hospice in Exeter do incredible work caring for people at the end of their lives. They looked after our mums - and us - during their final days, and I've long wanted to try and contribute something to the good work they do.
I’ve never run a half marathon - until a couple months ago I’d never run 10k - but I like to have a goal to work towards, and I said last year I’d put myself in for the Hackney Half, so I’m going to give it a go.
