Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Since Joanna’s diagnosis 15 months ago Macmillan has given her enormous support. Her Pancreatic Cancer was incurable and her primary wish was for a good quality of life that would allow her to enjoy her family and do many of the things she wanted to in the time she had left. She achieved this and despite some difficulties had a wonderful time. Her end was swift and peaceful, painfree, dying in her own home, tucked up in her own bed. We appreciated this and it was achieved with the support from MacMillan. Our worries were their worries. Macmillan does whatever it takes but without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
