I am raising money for JDRF (Junior Diabetes Reasearch Fund) which helps support children with Type 1 Diabetes.

My nephew was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 2. Also my sons friend was also diagnosed at a similar age. Their diagnosis upset me more than my own!

In 2013 I was diagnosed with T1D after being admitted to hospital with DKA. (Diabetic KetoAcidosis). My condition has since been re-evaluated due to more modern testing methods to non typical Type 2 Diabetes but for almost 10 years I had to inject insulin multiple times per day.

I am raising money to hopefully find a cure to this autoimmune condition.
