One in three of us will be touched by Hospice Care in our lifetime. Hospice’s not only care for the patient and their life-limiting condition, but for their family to, creating a safe and loving environment for their final moments together.

Earlier this year, we lost a close colleague called Amanda Duckworth to cancer after an extremely brave battle. Amanda led our venues in the northwest and was hugely influential during our time with us in shaping our business performance and much of the culture that our employees now thrive in.

One of the things she spear-headed is a now annual football tournament for internal staff that is used to fundraise for good causes, help to highlight physical wellbeing in the workplace and pits mixed gender teams of all walks of life from across the business together.

To honour her memory, this year we will be fundraising during the event for St Anne’s Hospice in Manchester that supported Amanda and her family through palliative care.

In addition to hosting the football tournament, we’ll be running a raffle for all supporters to enter. So, everyone who donates to this JustGiving page, will be in with a chance to win one of our amazing prizes on offer.
