Story
For brain tumour awareness month in March I will be running 130 km over 31 days - 1km for each of the 130 types of brain tumours.
For those of you that know me, I’m pretty new to running and fitting this in to my day to day life, whilst hoping my bad knee holds up, is going to be quite a challenge.
For us as a family however, our biggest challenge yet came when one of us was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma out of the blue in April 2021.
Brain tumour research needs all the help it can get. Only 1% of the national cancer spend goes on brain tumours despite killing more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
Any money you can spare will be so very much appreciated. Thank you ❤️
