I really wanted to raise some money for the Christie Cancer Hospital, Manchester who have done, and are continuing to do so much for my partner Amanda who was diagnosed with cancer in summer 2022. We are so lucky and fortunate to have this facility on our doorstep, and we want to make sure it's here for years to come, to treat as many cancer patients as possible!

So I thought I would really challenge myself in attempting to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours and I’ve roped in 7 pals to attempt this with me.

So, on 1st September 2023, Team ‘Ain’t no Mt high enough’ (Adele, Danielle, Craig, Liz, Phil, Sarah C, Nick, and Sarah H) will be attempting this demanding yet rewarding two-day trekking challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours, Snowdon in Wales (1085m), Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Ben Nevis in Scotland (1345m).

The Christies Cancer Hospital is a very worthwhile cause and one that is personal to a few of the members of the team. So please give as much or as little as you can. Sadly most of us have been or will be affected by cancer in some way and this is an excellent way of giving something back.
