Story
You have landed in a wonderful place, likely because of your shared love for our incredible Adam! Let me give you a little back story into our why...
In May 2012, Adam was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumour, very soon after celebrating his 18th birthday. Over a period of 4 years, he underwent a very long course of treatments, including multiple brain surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I have never seen a strength like it.
We sadly lost Adam on the 5th of July, 2016 after a long and difficult battle. His bravery is something I think we all carry forward in our lives one way or another, I couldn’t aspire to have his strength more!
As some of you may know, Adam would be turning the BIG 30 in April 2024, and so to mark his special birthday, we hope you will join us for a year to remember!
We are planning a series of challenges & events across the whole of 2024, open for all to get involved - there will be something for everybody to choose from!
This page will act as a collective group donation site for everybody who gets involved across the different events.
You can find all the details about the events we have planned over at our Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/309974374814772.

Why St Richards Hospice...
We have chosen St. Richards Hospice as one of our charities because of the incredible care and support they offered both Adam and the whole family during his final months with us. We couldn’t speak more highly of our experience with the hospice and how comfortable they made this extremely difficult time. I know lots of you here would have seen that for yourselves when visiting Adam, and I am sure you will agree they are a wonderful and deserving charity!
St Richard’s is an independent hospice that relies mainly on donations and gifts in Wills to enable us to continue to provide our services. It costs £9.72m (21/22 audited accounts) to run the hospice, including patient care and all the necessary support services. We rely on donations and gifts in Wills for the majority of our income with less than a quarter funded by the NHS.
Whatever donations, big or small will be massively appreciated, please help us give back to this incredible cause - you never know when you or one of your loved ones may need such support so let's come together to raise as much as we possibly can!
