I am thrilled to be running again for Shine at this years London marathon in April!

Shine who are a fantastic charity who provide specialist support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff. Shine enables people to get the best out of life.

2024 was a really tough year for Bethan (my inspirational niece, who I am again running for) who faced further challenges with her shunt and her battle with Hydrocephalus. In partiuclar, she faced a lengthy stay in hospital towards the end of the year, this was partiuclarly hard for Bethan and her close family and although she was out in time for Christmas, she is still struggling and 2025 will be another battle for her to overcome, that said if anyone can SHE CAN!!

I know how much last years event meant to her, the support she received was incredible, I know asking again is always tough but any support that can be made would be amazing and greatly appreciated by the whole family and the wider Shine community.
