Story
I’ve never previously committed to anything more than a 5K, so this is quite a big deal for me, but I’m very much up for the challenge.
Last year I was really struggling with a knee injury, thanks to the depletion of the cartilage behind my kneecap, clearly this caused some severe discomfort. Without meaning to sound too dramatic, after a ton of hard work; strengthening, stretching, physio, rehab etc… I’ve managed to combat my injury and eradicate the pain - enabling me to take on this challenge!
Anyway that’s enough about me, besides personal accomplishment, the main reason I’m doing this is for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. A local charity that’s always been my first stop when fundraising and I’m thrilled to continue supporting them. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and go towards a truly great cause.
Thanks in advance for all your support, here’s a little bit of information on Shooting Star Children’s Hospices;
I am joining #TeamShootingStar and taking on a challenge to raise funds to help support the work they do to help families in the most unimaginable of circumstances.
