On the run into this Christmas, we thought we would tie one further event into this year and saw the Barnsley Hospice have introduced the Elf Run. The idea of our Elf Run to get dressed up as an elf if you are that way inclined and take part in a sponsored walk or run.

We all know what the hospice does, and it is hard to find someone who does not have personal knowledge of how magnificent they are at some of the most difficult times for many individuals and families.

We are planning on running (4-5km) and walking around Cannon Hall park at 8.30am on the 7th December.

As a further incentive Adam Leece as self appointed CEO (Chief Elf Organiser) has been convinced to dress in full Elf Attire in a bid to raise a few extra pounds.
