Story
Updated March 25 - Thank you all for your amazing and generous support so far, it is very much appreciated - £2000 - Incredible!
Three big ones still to come!
Newport Marathon - April 2025
London Marathon - April 2025
Long Course Marathon - June 2025
I started the challenges in July 2024, which was 3 months before I celebrated the 10th year anniversary of my life saving kidney transplant in October.
Without the transplant I simply wouldn't be here and to mark the 10-year milestone, I've taken part in a number of events and challenges over the last 8 months to fundraise for two causes that are very close to my heart, and hopefully give something back to the community that has helped me so much;
Kidney Wales and The Wales Transplant Football team (details of charities below).
12 Years ago my friends and family raised an incredible £7000 from a range of events after my diagnosis, so now feeling fit and healthy it is time for me to get back out there again and repeat the feats myself. Any amount you could spare would be greatly appreciated.
So far I have completed:
Wales Three Peaks - completed July 2024!
Cardiff Half Marathon - October 2024
Houston Marathon - January 2025
Newport Half Marathon - Feb 2025
As well as many other half marathons, 10k's and hikes

Details of the two charities are as follows:
Kidney Wales....Supporting Families and Changing Lives.
Kidney patients have worries that extend beyond their health. At Kidney Wales we are helping patients daily providing guidance, funding vital research, offering monetary aid and enabling access to specialist support. Aiming to alleviate their worries and ensure they can focus fully on treatment and living their best life.
Kidney Wales does not receive any government funding, we rely on the generosity of the general public to continue our life-changing work.
Clwb Pel-Droed Trawsblaniad Cymru - Wales Transplant Football Club
Clwb Pêl-Droed Trawsblaniad Cymru (CPDTC) is a community team that allows all chronic organ failure, cornea, stem cell/bone marrow athletes an opportunity to participate in sport even if they are not quite at the level of needing a transplant.
They can participate in all our training and games that are non official transplant events. Our aim is to provide a safe space where all can participate at a level that suits their needs, whilst building a positive mindset and building strong relationships within our transplant sport community.
