Story
In April 2025 I am taking on the massive challenge of running the London Marathon to raise funds for Tiny Seeds - a Charity very close to my heart. Not only is this a huge test of personal endurance (the training is tough!), but it is for a cause that results from my own experiences. So as I enter my 40th year, I want to celebrate by doing what I can to help this amazing Charity.
For six years my wife Chloé and I struggled with secondary infertility, navigating the emotional and physical toll of IVF while feeling the isolation and loneliness that goes with it. Through our experience, we could see how support was missing for people in Jersey. This is why Chloé and her brilliant team founded Tiny Seeds and I am so proud to have witnessed firsthand the hard work, determination and drive that has gone into this. The amazing Charity now provides much needed connections, support and importantly, hope, for those facing fertility struggles in Jersey.
We thank ourselves so lucky every single day that our own journey ended with the arrival of our wonderful daughter and a sister for our son. We will never take it for granted that we were able to complete our family through IVF, but sadly, 1 in 6 people will find themselves facing a fertility struggle and not everyone will bring home a baby at the end of it. The experience is all consuming and devastating and that's why Charity's like Tiny Seeds are so important, to provide support and to be able to show people that they are not alone in what they are going through.
This marathon is not just about crossing the finish line (but I am determined that I will!), it is about helping to bring hope to those people struggling to grow their families. Every donation will help Tiny Seeds continue their brilliant work.
I would be so grateful if you can support me in my 40th-year challenge and help Tiny Seeds grow!
Thank you :)
