On June 12th 2024 I am going to be running a 100km lap of Bermuda in the hope to raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.

Back in 2015 my Step Dad Paul Brumann spent his last few weeks under the incredible nurses and care givers at the hospice. He suffered from Oesophagus cancer and brain cancer. One of my final memories of the man was him drinking what I think was a Pina Colada in his chair next to his bed just days before he passed.

I know it is a long time since he passed, but he is missed every day. When planning this run and thinking of a charity to raise money for, there was no others that I could think of that I have personally seen or met the amazing people who there.

The care team at the hospice were absolutely incredible throughout his time there as I am sure they are with every person who walks through their doors.
