UPDATE*********
On Friday 26th Exeter School the CCF threw themselves into a 'Bum Shuffle Marathon' as a mark of respect to the way I finished the marathon and with two primary objectives - have loads of fun and raise loads of money for the British Heart Foundation. I am incredibly grateful to Major Dan Trim, Wing Commander Simon Smale and WO2 David Jones for the effort, energy, enthusiasm and time they put into making it happen and providing so much fun and laughter for the cadets whist raising valuable funds! Shout out to the grounds team for supporting the prep of the course and the DT team for making some fantastic trophies!
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm running the 2024 London Marathon and am raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. This charity does incredible work to support and save the lives of people up and down the country with heart related illness and disease. It is of particular significance to me having lost my grandfather a few years ago to a heart attack following years of issues with his heart. Even more recently and notably, my father has been diagnosed with incurable and significantly life-limiting heart disease. I am inspired and motivated to raise as much as I can for the BHF.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
