Our beautiful baby boy Finley was born on 4th June 2023 at only 28 + 1 weeks weighing 2lb 14oz. He was looked after by the amazing team on the special care baby unit (SCBU) in Glan Clwyd for the first 5 weeks of his life, before being transferred to Ysbyty Gwynedd for a further 6 weeks.

Those first few weeks of Finley's life were extremely challenging and it was a very difficult time for our family. We cannot thank the team at Glan Clwyd enough for all their support and we will be forever grateful for the care and love our Finley received during his time there.

Cuddles is a charity who support the SCBU at Glan Clwyd and is solely run by volunteers. We benefited greatly from this charity when Finley was born and continue to benefit now by going to their weekly baby group Neomates, where Finley has made lots of new friends.

As a way of giving back to this charity, we have decided to do a sponsored walk from Ysbyty Gwynedd to Glan Clwyd on the 22nd June 2024. The walk is approximately 34 miles and should take around 12-13 hours to complete. We would happily welcome anybody who would like to join us along the way!

Adam works for Watkin Property Ventures who have kindly nominated Cuddles as their charity of the year which hopefully means we can raise a lot of money for this amazing charity which is very close to our hearts.
