Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for donating a few pennies to this worthy and emotional cause...

I have resisted putting out this link until I was in to 'dry' January and at least (on average) drinking more water each day than Chardonnay...

I am raising funds in memory of our friend Amelia Roberts. Amelia tragically died at home just before Christmas in 2018, aged just 21. She had been suffering epilepsy in the form of Petit Mal seizures and these developed in to Grand Mal seizures where she would lose consciousness. She made the decision to donate her brain for research and it is for continued research in to the causes of epilepsy that I am raising funds by running the London Marathon in April in memory of Amelia.

Please give what you can. This research funding is vital to finding a cure for this widely misunderstood and underrated disease.

Thank you so very, very much.

-John (aged 63 and a half)
