I'm running Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2024 to support cancer research. I'm supporting the next generation of researchers, to help accelerate life-changing discoveries to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for people living with a wide range of conditions.

You'll know that my wife Sue has cancer and has had major operations over the last seven years. During that time, my best friend Paul (running buddy, supporter through difficulties...) died having had a diagnosis far too late to treat effectively.

Cancer researchers at Cardiff University are improving outcomes for people living with some of the most common cancers such as breast, prostate and bowel, as well as those that are rarer or hard to treat.
