Story
Sadly last year, we very suddenly and unexpectedly lost our beloved Mum/Mother-in-Law Julie at the age of just 53. Words cannot describe how much we all miss her and as a family, we will always keep her memory alive. One of the ways we can do this is by taking on challenges to raise money for the charities that Julie supported throughout her life.
Therefore, we'd like to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance. Julie was very proud to live in the Lake District. She loved walking in the lakes with her friends and one of her greatest achievements was completing all 214 Wainwright walks. Julie supported this amazing charity throughout her life as she knew how vital their work was in helping save the lives of people living in the North West. We want to continue this support in her memory.
This September, we will be abseiling just over 100ft down Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. Julie had such an infectious love for adventures and challenges so we want to make her proud by taking on this challenge!
We would be very grateful for any donations to support our challenge. The North West Air Ambulance delivers specialist and enhanced pre-hospital care to the most critically ill and injured, and transport patients to the most appropriate hospital to achieve the best outcomes for them. They receive no government or NHS funding. They rely solely on their fantastic supporters to keep their helicopters flying and continuing their life saving work.
Thank you so much for your support,
Matt, Beth and Nick x
