Hi friends and family- this is my first year volunteering on the board for the Children’s Place! The work this organization does is deeply important to me. As a mental health therapist who provides trauma focused counseling to adults with PTSD- I understand the way trauma impacts an individual throughout their lifespan if left untreated. Early intervention in childhood is profoundly important for promoting healing and giving children the opportunity to grow into healthy and emotionally resilient adults one day!
