Purple Day 2024
Campaign by SUDEP Action (RCN 1164250 (England & Wales) SC047223 (Scotland))
Purple Day (March 26th) is an international day where people from around the world come together to promote epilepsy awareness. At SUDEP Action we take part in Purple Day to get as many people shouting about epilepsy and epilepsy safety as possible.

Story

Approaching ‘Purple day’ on 26th March, I wanted to start a fundraiser for SUDEP action charity. Purple day is a national day to recognise and talk about epilepsy. SUDEP stands for sudden unexplained death in epilepsy.

As many know, my sister Hayley, had epilepsy, which took her from us in 2015 at age 20. Being only 15, (nearly 16) at the time it was a shock to lose someone so close, and not have my sister to grow up with anymore. I would love to raise some funds to contribute to research, good work and awareness SUDEP action brings.

If you could spare some pennies to donate I would be grateful 💜 even to just share the post to raise awareness about SUDEP would be amazing to hopefully stop other families going through what we have. Although time passes quickly I still think about this every day.

Thanks,

Abbie x
