Aaron, Gary & Liam’s fundraiser for MND

Victoria Johnson is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Montane Lakeland 50 · 24 July 2026

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Aaron, Gary and Liam are taking on the incredible challenge of the Montane Lakeland 50 – a grueling 50-mile ultramarathon through the Lake District, featuring tough climbs, unpredictable weather, and demanding terrain.

They’re not just doing this for the challenge, but to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) – a devastating illness that affects thousands of people and their families, robbing them of strength, mobility, and independence.

Every step they take over those 50 miles is for those who can’t.

MND is a cause close to many hearts, and funding for research and support is vital to improve care and work towards a cure. By supporting Aaron, Gary and Liam, you’re helping to make a real difference.

Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this page, your support means everything and will help keep them going through every mile.

Thank you so much for your generosity 🧡
