Story
Hello and thank you for visiting this page.
I am raising funds for McNally House by running 50 kilometers on the 3rd June. My amazing niece, Eve Koren, has had many challenges in her life with complex additional needs and up until a few years ago lived with her mum and dad. At the age of 18 Eve moved to McNally House run by Aberlour Child Care Trust. Eve is supported to lead a full and busy life and has flourished under the care of the team there. It has been lovely to see so many wonderful photos and short videos of Eve in her daily life at home and out on local day trips. Eve regularly has visits and overnight stays back in her old bedroom at her mum and dad's too.
Eve has Cornelia de Lange Syndome (CdLS). Information about CdLS can be found here - https://www.cdls.org.uk/treatment-guidelines/what-is-cornelia-de-lange-syndrome/
The team at McNally House would like to create a sensory room for the benefit of Eve and her two house mates and I hope you would sponsor my 50km run with a few pounds. I have called the run 50@50 having reached the age of 50 myself just recently.
If you are interested in running anything between 1km and 50kms I would love the company on the day, please get in touch.
Your generous donation means Aberlour’s services can provide support to these children where, when and how they need it. Thank you, Aaron.
