We are a team of close friends running the Cardiff Half Marathon in honour of Addie May Messer who was taken to be with the angels to soon. Addie blessed us with her life on 19 November 2023 but sadly lost her courageous battle at 5 days old on 24 November.

No parent should have to go through the tragedy of what Addie's mum Isabel and dad Ricky have experienced. However; to help them process their loss they have been given invaluable support by Sands. For this reason we are raising money for them.

Sands are the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operateing across the UK. They are supporting anyone who is affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
