I am a mother of two wonderful children, a 12-year-old son and a 9-month-old toddler. My husband works as a taxi driver, and I had been employed until June 2024. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected family tragedy, I had to resign from my job. My mother-in-law became paralyzed in June 2024 after a surgery and sadly passed away due to pneumonia in July. Since then, I have been struggling to balance caring for my children and managing our household.

Our youngest child is still unable to feed himself, and I cannot afford to hire a caretaker or cover daycare expenses. Additionally, our elder son, Kenula, needs supervision after school. He is a bright student, excelling in science, mathematics, and English, with aspirations of becoming a doctor.

On 18th September, my husband met with an accident that severely damaged our taxi and his leg, which has been our primary source of income to meet daily expenses. Now, we are facing significant financial difficulties. We have missed three loan payments for a house construction loan that began three years ago, and we are behind on water and electricity bills. We have received DDISCOUNTING NOTICE for electricity bill. Our taxi lease payment is due on the 5th of October, and we are also preparing for a religious almsgiving ceremony for my late mother-in-law.

Despite my best efforts, including making cake slices for local coffee shops, it’s become impossible to manage these mounting responsibilities alone. To add to the challenge, I am on medication for depression as the stress has taken a toll on my health.

We need immediate financial support to avoid further debt and to ensure a stable future for our children. Any help you can provide during this difficult time would mean the world to us. I have attached supporting documents for your review.
