Story

This May I'll be returning to Wales to complete the eighth and final leg of my long distance walk along the Wales Coast Path. My walk this year starts at the Swansea Waterfront, and within a few miles I'll cross the Briton Ferry Bridge before continuing on towards Cardiff and Newport. As I approach the end of the walk I'll take a quick detour over the old Severn Bridge and back again, before crossing the finish line in Chepstow. All in all, I'll be walking a total of 118 miles over 8 days.

I'll doing this challenge to raise money to help SIFT provide primary healthcare in Nicaragua. Every week Dr Sandra and her team of nurses bring everyday healthcare to rural communities on Ometepe. It's the kind of health service that we value here in the UK, and it really makes a difference to the lives of the poor.

I'm hoping to raise at least £2,000 through this challenge, which will provide free medicines for two months for everyone seen by Dr Sandra and the nurses.
