Story
Nicole was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 8, 2024. As she began the journey of facing this profound challenge, the thought of potential hair loss and changes to her appearance added an extra layer of worry that weighed heavily on her heart. Fortunately, the Pluta Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center offered a new technology designed to reduce hair loss from chemotherapy. Nicole was among the first to receive treatment with the Paxman Cool Cap system, which successfully preserved her hair and bolstered her sense of strength and resilience.
Sadly, Nicole’s journey ended peacefully on October 26, 2024, with her loved ones by her side. Her courage and fighting spirit remain an inspiration to all. Many women, however, face financial and insurance barriers that make accessing this technology difficult. In Nicole’s honor, we are raising funds to support women in preserving their confidence and hope during cancer treatment. By contributing to this campaign, you can help alleviate one of the many anxieties that accompany a cancer diagnosis and empower women as they bravely confront breast cancer. On behalf of the Greisberger/Inzana families, thank you for your support.
