Story

Every day, The Anthony Nolan Trust saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. They do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. They also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond.

Nathan and Liam are too young to register to be a bone marrow donor, but want to help The Anthony Nolan Trust, who are supporting a fellow member of Maidenhead Hockey Club.

As you can see from the "before" photo, their hair is probably their most prized possession, but Nathan and Liam will have their hair shaved off to raise funds for The Anthony Nolan Trust.

If you are able to donate even a few pounds to support these boys in their act of kindness, not only will it go to a worthy cause, but it will hopefully be of encouragement to their clubmate and all those in need of a bone marrow transplant to see that far more people than they imagine are supporting them.
