Several of my friends have been affected by cancer recently so I’ve decided to go on an adventure to raise some money for a fabulous cause.

CFC support kids with cancer in their rehabilitation by providing them with new lightweight bikes and specially adapted trikes. Helping them to get outside and get active, improving their physical and mental health while having some much needed fun too!

So, from Sunday 9th July to Saturday 15th July, I'm making my way from Chipping Campden to Les Gets via bike, train and ferry carrying all my own kit and unsupported:

Sunday 9th July: Cycle 145km from Chipping Campden to Windsor.

Monday 10th July: conference in Windsor.

Tuesday 11th July: conference in Windsor.

Wednesday 12th July: Cycle 135km from Windsor to Newhaven for 11am ferry to Dieppe.

Thursday 13th July: Cycle 80km from Dieppe to Bray et Lu.

Friday 14th July: Cycle 80km from Bray et Lu to Paris, train to Geneva and then cycle 30km to Yvoire on the banks of Lac Leman.

Saturday 15th July: Cycle 45km to Les Gets which includes over 1,000m of climbing! The last 5km are really steep and mean and I'm pretty scared!!

I’ll be carrying all my own kit and am doing the ride unsupported apart from staying in luxury hotels mainly with spas where I hope to dine in style assuming I’m not too stinky to be accepted into their restaurants!!

I’m paying for all of the trip myself so whatever you donate will go straight to Cyclists Fighting Cancer to do their important work - so - please don’t be shy - dig deep and support an amazing cause!
