Story
We're going on a Walk to Remember in memory of Keith.
20th July 2024 marks 4 years since Keith Sheridan (Shero) died by suicide.
Every year we join together at The Elphin pub and walk the 5KM to Keith's tree in St Anne's Park. Here there is refreshments and a safe space to remember Keith. We share laughs, tears, hugs and memories of our gentle giant with the biggest personality and a heart the size to match. Please feel free to join us on the day and if you can please donate, share and spread the word.
This year we're hoping to raise awareness and funding for Samaritans, so that they can support people who are struggling to cope.
Samaritans is a charity working across the UK and Ireland to reduce the number of people who take their own lives and help people who are struggling to cope with howthey're feeling. Thanks to the dedication of around 22,000 volunteers, Samaritans can be there for anyone, whatever they are going through day or night, 365 days a year.
Just €5 could help Samaritans answer a call for help, while €24 could help train and support Samaritans volunteers.
If you're struggling, Samaritans are there for you. Call free on 116 123 (within the UK or Ireland) or visit samaritans.org for other ways to speak to a Samaritan.
Thank you so much for your support not just in this, but in all the ways on all the days since I lost my Mr Amazing and my world changed forever. People tell me I'm so strong but it's the army I have behind me that give me that strength.
Lots of Love
