Story
At age 48 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
I received an orchidectomy and chemotherapy as part of my treatment and have 5 years of close monitoring. I am passionate at telling my story, making others aware that self care, regular checking yourself and knowing what to look for is important.

And normalising the conversation is part of my mission too, let's not be embarrassed to discuss our testes with friends and family. Those conversations save lives.
Once I got back to the running shoes I moved from marathon distance to ultra and endurance, using my love of running as a platform to support others.
50K Doughnut Run - London
Yes that is a 50K Ultra-Marathon around London, visiting 21 Krispy Kreme Doughnut Stores along the way....well why not!
April 6th 2024
Starting at Stratford and finishing at Canada Square. Crossing the Thames and navigating though 50KM's of London streets and parks.
I designed this challenging run myself and it will be a solo effort. I love running, love Krispy Kreme and love to raise awareness for such an important cause.
I'd love it if you could support me, help me to raise money for Oddballs so they can continue their outreach programmes and schools, colleges and workplaces, talking openly about testicular cancer. Your donation could save a life.

Here is some really important information about Oddballs.
The OddBalls Foundation is the UK's leading charity raising awareness of Testicular Cancer.
Testicular Cancer is the most prominent cancer in men aged 15-49, with around 2,400 new cases in the UK every year, that's more than 6 every day. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers.
Help us raise awareness of Testicular Cancer to breakdown the stigma, provide people with the correct education, and encourage more men to check themselves on a regular basis, in doing so detect any problems early.
